After the whole LendInk thing, I decided to contact one of the few authors who was level headed and didnt try and destory lendink because they didnt understand it.

I was reading an authors blog about how she had stood against the twit mob, she showed herself to be level headed and I liked that, So as a read some of her older blogs I saw she was having trouble promoting herself, I decided to contact her and suggest she share some of her works over p2p via bittorrent.

she agreed after a short talk, and was even excited about the idea, she tried to do it herself but having no experiance with this stuff she was at a loss as to how to do it.

she asked If i could get it up for her.....I agreed.

below I have copied the posting I tried to make at TPB(kept getting server backend errors), this posting is also awaiting moderation at h33t

please Im calling on anybody here that torrents and is a reader, even if your not a fan of her works, help spread the word and seed this torrent

if you can upload the torrent to a tracker like TPB or kickass or isohunt(we cant here in the states thats blocked) that would be great and would be appricated, just copy the quoted text below and share the torrent(attached)

But a cool thing resulted from it: I received an email from a guy (Ashen) who suggested I do something kind of crazy: pick some of my titles and release them to the wilds via Torrents, and disgusted by what happened with Lendink, I thought 'Why not?'

I’m an Indie, and have been for almost 5 years. During that time, I’ve published several titles, pulled those that I later decided suck, and have seen some sales and good reviews. I totally fail at marketing, so haven’t found a lot of readers or fans yet.

I do have a few, and call them my Awesome Blossoms, even when they tell me I'm a bitch via email because I killed a character. Yes, that really happened. It was a high point for me as a writer. =)

The thing is, being a writer isn’t much fun without readers. I want you as a reader. I want to entertain you, transport you to different worlds and introduce you to the people who live in my brain.

I might be able to seed out the torrent from my dedicated server for a bit depending on bandwidth usage, just to get it out there and let other seeds take over.

Hmm, this would be the perfect usage for that seedbox we keep discussing lol.

I read this, and it's like y'all speak an entirely different language.

I've looked at the h33t.com link, and am clueless as to what 'leechers' are, as well as what exactly the 'complete' column means. Then I look at 'leechers' again, think 'leeches', and go 'Yuck!'

Leechers are people currently downloading the file.

Seeders are people with a 100% complete copy of the file sharing it out for every one else to donwload.

Have you tried using any speech-to-text software? Win7 has something built in. I have what may be developing carpal tunnel in my right wrist, so my HH bought me Dragon to use, but I also wear a magnetic bracelet that, silly as it may sound, really helps. As in, as long as I have it on, my wrist doesn't bother me at all. Before I got the bracelet, I hurt from the middle of my forearm to fingers all the freakin' time. $:-\$

I didn't think the magnets would actually help, so it was a nice surprise. Best $5 I've ever spent at Wallyworld.
